Pygmy Goat Keeper Experience SEN Friendly

Pygmy Goat Keeper Experience is a great way to learn all about our goats and how we look after them. It lasts around 1.5 hours and you become part of our team and spend the morning with our goats, preparing and giving them their breakfast, topping up their hay, water and refreshing their bedding area. The goats poop everywhere so with our little goat pooper scooper you can go on a poop hunt and collect all their little pellets around the play area. Our adorable Pygmy Goats are eager to interact with you and love to play and have some treats. You can watch and learn from our Pygmy Handlers, and try out some Pygmy Goat Tricks in their fantastic play area. Just observing them in their playground will fill you with smiles and laughter. It's a wonderful opportunity to interact with animals, learn about them and capture lots of pictures and selfies during your experience. They love to be fussed and enjoy a good scratch and a brush.  

​Although it is a fun experience, our goats have horns to be cautious of, and they like to run around, jump up, and nibble on everything. So, you need to stay alert in their play area! Wear suitable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or nibbled and avoid dangly jewelry or clothes as they will try to nibble it. Closed-end shoes are recommended, and long hair should be tied back.

This experience is not suitable for children under 6 years old or shorter than 1m. Adults are responsible for assessing this and supervising their children when interacting with the goats.
